Started With Frustration, Built on Integrity

In 2011, our founder Tom Whitfield tried to get solar installed on his family home in Newcastle. The experience was terrible. Pushy salespeople, confusing quotes, and eventually a botched installation that took months to fix.

That frustration became vibrant-heath. Tom partnered with electrical engineer Sarah Chen to create a company that would do things properly — transparent pricing, quality components, installations by employees rather than subcontractors, and support that didn't vanish after payment.

Fourteen years later, we've completed over 2,800 installations across Australia. Some of our original clients still call us for advice. That's the relationship we build.

Our Installation Philosophy

Many solar companies treat installation as a commodity — hire the cheapest subcontractors, get in and out fast, move to the next sale. The result is systems that underperform or fail prematurely.

We employ all our installers directly. They're trained in our methods, use our equipment, and are accountable to our standards. Average tenure on our installation teams is 6.3 years.
